Extracurriculars
With the stresses of KAMSC, it is extremely important to find time to relax and have fun. There are also chances to improve your performance at school. KAMSC provides many opportunities to do this throughout the course of the year.

Sci-Fi Film Fest
Takes place in the second semester,
an overnight movie binge in the Presentation Center. A mix of scary, funny, and weird flicks.

There is one in the fall, and one in that late winter. Always a great turnout (with questionable music), they are a great time to spend time with friends you normally wouldn't

Takes place after open lab. Things like spirit week, food drives, and dances are all planned by the students at these meetings. The perfect place to get your voice in.

Open Lab & Office hours
Open Lab normally takes place on Wednesday evenings from
6-7:30 p.m.

Office hours vary depending on the teacher.

Both a very helpful way to get individual help.

Freshman Orientation
You can volunteer to help at the Freshman Orientation. It is at the Kalamazoo Nature Center. It consists of leading activities and icebreakers. It is held for the incoming 9th graders.
